This pharmaceutical company dedicated to manufacturing, distributing and commercializing animal health products is looking for a Technical Service Manager in it’s Companion Animals Division for Ontario.

Your main mission will be to ensure that the Technical Service Department meets the needs of internal and external customers in terms of technical support and relationships with veterinarians and opinion leaders.

Planning and coordination of activities:
- Manage the service activities within the team.
- Promote operations between sales, marketing and technical service teams.
- Team management in terms of recruitment and performance evaluation of field veterinarians.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Technical Service.

Marketing support:
- Manage the technical information for the product range entrusted per Product Manager.
- Assist in the development of communication material.
- Validate the technical accuracy of advertising material and written communications containing technical references.

Technical support:
- Support commercial activities from a technical point of view.
- Assess the technical knowledge of the Territory Managers.
- Organize and animate training sessions for the sales force.
- Provide technical support to Regional Managers to develop technical skills.
Various:
- Answer technical questions in a complete and precise manner.
- Stay up-to-date on innovations in veterinary medicine.
- Ensure management of pharmacovigilance cases and quality complaints monitoring.
- Develop lasting and reliable relationships with the various interlocutors.

Job Requirements

Doctorate in veterinary medicine (D.M.V.), license to practice in Canada

A minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice

Experience in leading professional meetings

Customer focused

Presentation skills; ability to convey technical knowledge at a level adapted to the audience.

Credibility in the veterinary companion animal business in Ontario

Ability to analyze and synthesize information, excellent communicator

Teaching skills and creativity

Enthusiasm

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Bilingualism (French English) an asset
