Vetoquinol is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of animal health products, we are looking for a Marketing Manager for our companion animals business unit.

At Vetoquinol, our mission is to listen, understand and respond to the needs of our customers. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the company's marketing activities and the organization's products, ensuring the development and implementation of a fully integrated marketing strategy for Canada in accordance with the company's overall strategic objectives (globally and local).

Responsible for working in collaboration with the key account manager and with international marketing teams to ensure the creation and implementation of marketing strategies based on key accounts in accordance with KAM plans.

 MAIN ACTIVITIES  :

 Team management

- Manage the activity of its team, creates the conditions for its success, contributes to its cohesion and encourages collaboration. Ensures that the knowledge and skills of team members allow the achievement of assigned missions and objectives.

- Is a leader and exemplary in his know-how, as well as in respect of managerial processes, gives meaning to actions, stimulates the taking of initiatives and develops confidence.

Marketing and digital strategies

- Develop and propose short and medium term marketing strategies taking into account each customer segment (target and non-target, key, strategic, etc.) and formalize this strategy in an operational marketing plan.

- Ensures that the marketing strategy is respected and implemented: market vision, identification of development opportunities, definition and monitoring of performance indicators then implementation in the field

- Integrate digital strategies into the marketing proposal of the business unit

Creation and supervision of marketing processes

  • Marketing plan

- Validates, coordinates and monitors the execution of the action plans defined by products by the Product Managers

- Innovation plan: ability to generate opportunities

  • Product management

- Supervise the life cycle management of the different products. Develop and execute winning commercial strategies on the marketing mix (price, distribution, promotion, products).

  • Product launches

- Supervises the marketing of new products by coordinating the various internal and external players.

  • Projections

- Supervises sales and expenditure projections for products under the responsibility of product managers

 Analysis

- Analyzes and assesses the performances obtained (turnover, margin, reputation, image, market share) and identifies opportunities, corrective measures and means in order to maximize the results and ensure the achievement of the financial objectives of the subsidiary.

- Market analysis via different tools (sales report, industry reports, market studies, publications, field involvement, etc.)

 Services and Solutions

- Proposes and develops a Services and Solutions policy and ensures its proper implementation in the dedicated poles

- Coordinate and lead the implementation of innovative services and solutions allowing the development of our activity

 BU management team

-As a member of the companion animal business unit team, participates in the organizational diagnosis and proposes means of action and / or changes in order to ensure the achievement of objectives and to maximize the profitability of the business unit.

- Participate in key accounts team projects

Job Requirements

PROFILE

  • University degree in Marketing
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing management and project management
  • Good knowledge of computer software in the Windows environment
  • Experience in B2B, B2C, and digital strategies
  • Bilingual French and English written and spoken
